Rimli Roy and Surati for Performing Arts (www.suratiinc.com) will present an interactive and educational insight into the world of Indian classical, folk, creative, Bollywood and fusion dances for children while also showcasing some original choreography by the company where jazz, hip-hop and contemporary fusions with Indian traditional dances will be performed. The other company dancers are Cinna Chandran (Assistant Artistic Director), Elodie Gard and Nikhil Gosavi.
Surati is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization that showcases, promotes and preserves traditional, folk and ethnic art forms and artistes through dance, music, theatre, arts and crafts using classical and contemporary techniques with a special focus on Indian arts, heritage and culture. Surati often tours nationally with its theatrical productions and programming and hosts unique community events in Hudson County that attracts thousands nationally. With a deep respect for world cultures and unity in diversity, Surati brings to its audience quality dance theatre, musical theatre, staged productions, arts-in-education programming with hands-on experiences, meaningful community festivals and events that spread awareness throughout the communities it works with.

Council for Handicrafts (Indian Ministry of Textiles) and The Lincoln Center to name a few. They have also performed at prestigious venues like The Kennedy Center and The Library of Congress (Washington D.C), The Reichhold Center at the University of the U.S Virgin Islands, Rutgers University (NJ), Alaska Performing Arts Center (AK), Las Vegas Convention Center (NV), Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, World Financial Center Wintergarden , New York City Hall and The Indian Consulate (NYC).
