Grove Street PATH Station
PATH subway trains will take you from four locations throughout Jersey City to midtown and lower Manhattan. These streamlined trains provide an important link between Jersey City’s neighborhoods and the surrounding NYC metro area. Easy connections can be made from the PATH subway to the NYC MTA subway.
The PATH trains run – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with weekend schedules on the JSQ-33rd Street line.
Stations: Newport (33rd Street), Exchange Place (World Trade Center), Grove Street (33rd/World Trade Center), Journal Square (33rd/World Trade Center).

Hudson-Bergen Light Rail
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System connects the western portions of Jersey City to Exchange Place, Newport Center, Hoboken Terminal and residential Bayonne. The light rail line also connects Jersey City to the rest of the NJ Transit rail system and three major transfer stations for the bus and ferry.
Liberty State Park is accessible by three HBLR stations:
- Marin Boulevard
- Jersey Avenue
- Liberty State Park
